Is it possible, if you know enough about video games, could you get a job at a Gamestop or other video game retail stores at age fourteen? I need money right now, and my first idea was Gamestop but I'm wondering if it was possible for me to apply for a job there with enough skill. |

It may depend on State Labor Laws. In New York State minors 14 and 15 years old may work after school hours and during vacations, but not in factory work. They may do delivery and clerical work in any enclosed office of a factory, and in dry cleaning, tailor, shoe repair, and similar service stores. That would include Gaming Stores, depending on the store policy. |

No you have to be at least 16 to get a part time job at any shop. |

You have to be either 17 or 18 because they sell M rated games. They won't allow a 14 year old to work there. I'm pretty sure it's 18. But it might be 17. No younger than 17 though. You should get a job at Publix bagging groceries or something along those lines. |

No, it is not possible. Child labor laws prohibit persons of your age to get a job. And knowing a lot about video games doesn't qualify you for a position at GameStop. It's retail, there's more to it than knowing your product. Besides, you don't want a job like that at your age. Enjoy not having to work just so you can pay bills and other responsibilities that come with being a working adult. |

You have to be 18 since you will be dealing with money and labor laws normally dont go any lower than 15 yrold |
