Question: Difference between video game programming and video game graphic designing?

Can any body tell me the difference(s) between video game programming and video game graphic designing?

One is done by programmers, writing code and game engines using programming languages. The other is done by artists creating artwork on everything from paper and Photoshop, to 3D modelers like Maya, Zbrush, 3DS Max, and a multitude of other graphic art software (the first two being for the concept phase, and the latter for creating the actual game models we play with as well as the cinematics).
