It depends how much you are willing to spend. Just because your warranty expired with Nintendo, you can always get it repaired through them still. It CA its usually around $90 with all taxes and shipping to get it fixed through them, but that does give you a new 1 year warranty, and you can always haggle them down (if you are angry/ upset enough it can be pushed to $0). There is a repair location in Chatsworth, so if you want to drive an hour, you can take it there and save the $10 for shipping, or just ship it in and it will only take like.. 1 or 2 weeks.
