Question: Can i play blu ray files on my xbox 360?

Plz need help...not the disc..only files from a USB.... im download a .mkv file..can i play this on my xbox?

If it is one of the usable formats of movie files. Where did you get the file? A bluray rip should work on the 360. It's just a media file extracted from a bluray disc.

Not sure. Probably not because the Xbox 360 can not recognize anything involving Blu-ray. I'm not even sure the PS3 could because I don't think these home consoles can "read " files other than discs or movies.

Nope 360 used hd dvd format and ps3 uses blu ray
